Tonzof's online marketplace sold a broad catalog of consumer goods before its storefront went dormant.
Tonzof, Inc. launched the Tonzof Super Marketplace at www.tonzof.com as a consumer online retail marketplace, entering public beta in September 2014 and officially launching that October. Built on the Mozu platform, it opened with over 500,000 items from more than 600 brands, spanning gifts, sports memorabilia, holiday and seasonal items, home decor, furniture, appliances, cameras, supplements, and office supplies. Shoppers earned 5% back in rewards, free shipping on orders over $25, and an AvantLink affiliate program from February 2015.
The marketplace also syndicated suppliers' products through other online marketplaces and partnered with hundreds of suppliers on its proprietary platform, pricing algorithm, and digital marketing services. Its company rebranded from the tool retailer Tool King in March 2014 under founder Don Cohen. The storefront is no longer active: tonzof.com is parked for sale and the Tonzof blog has been frozen since March 2015.
