Trace Midstream

Climate Investment invested in Trace Carbon Solutions, a North American carbon capture and sequestration development platform. Trace has over $420 million in equity commitments from Quantum Capital Group, Climate Investment, and management.

Trace Midstream and Gemini Midstream combined management teams to support growth of the 50-mile Gemini Carthage Pipeline in Harrison and Panola Counties, Texas, which can deliver more than 1.2 Bcf/d of high-pressure, dry natural gas.

Trace Midstream Partners II, LLC, plans to build the Apollo Gas Plant, a 250 MMcf/d natural gas processing facility in Eddy County, New Mexico, plus 36 miles of gathering pipelines and two compressor stations. Service is expected in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Trace Midstream secured a $400 million equity commitment from Quantum Energy Partners to form Trace Midstream Partners II and Trace Carbon Solutions. The Houston-based company develops carbon capture and sequestration assets and supports midstream infrastructure across North America.

Trace Midstream develops, builds, and operates oil and natural gas midstream infrastructure in producing basins across the United States, with a current focus on the Northern Delaware Basin. It provides customized midstream solutions to producers.

Ben Beyer is a founder and Chief Financial Officer of Trace Midstream. As CFO, Ben is responsible for all financial functions for the company including capital raising, financial analysis, and M&A transactions. Ben brings 15 years of midstream and energy finance experience to Trace.

Josh Weber is a founder and chief executive officer of Trace Midstream and leads development and execution of the company’s business plan.

Kenton Bulson is the Vice President of Facilities Engineering for Trace Midstream. Kenton is responsible for engineering, project management, construction and operations support.
