Twindo

Twindo, formerly Occipital, started as a 3D sensing company that built the Structure Sensor, a 3D sensor for mobile devices, before moving from hardware to software that turns captured interiors into working models. It now sells a platform that converts LiDAR scans, uploaded floor plans, and point clouds into editable CAD and BIM as-builts, with a web viewer where a team can walk a space, take measurements, and share photos and project details.

What separates it is the production model behind those files: ordinary iPhone and iPad Pro LiDAR capture, AI-assisted processing, and human modelers who review and refine every deliverable, with no specialized scanning hardware or trained field crew required. It targets architects, designers, contractors, and property teams working from existing conditions, and retail operators, property managers, and commercial developers documenting spaces at scale.
