Upvest is a Berlin-headquartered investment infrastructure company whose API-first platform lets banks, brokers, wealth managers and fintechs launch and scale brokerage, settlement and custody products across Europe and the UK. Founded in 2017 and independently managed by its founders, the firm operates as a regulated securities institution supervised by BaFin in Germany and the FCA in the UK, providing end-to-end trading, custody and back-office services rather than software alone.
The platform covers fractional investing, model and personalised portfolios, and automated savings plans across more than 20 markets, and is used by institutions including DKB, Santander's Openbank, Revolut, N26, Webull and Raisin. Upvest processes over 100 million orders annually and, in March 2026, raised a $125 million financing round to fund pension-product localisation and AI-supported investment engines.
