Grid-independent electric power for data centers from clusters of Valar Atomics reactors at gigasite campuses.

Valar Atomics develops standardized high-temperature gas-cooled nuclear reactors for industrial power and clean fuel production.
Valar Atomics is a private American nuclear energy company that designs and builds standardized high-temperature gas-cooled reactors using TRISO fuel, graphite moderation, and helium cooling. Rather than selling reactors, it plans to operate hundreds of them on integrated gigasite campuses, vertically integrating design, construction, operation, and fuel production. Its outputs are grid-independent products: hydrogen, data-center power, heavy industrial power, and clean hydrocarbon fuels.
The company's Ward 250 test reactor, built under Department of Energy authorization at the San Rafael Energy Research Center in Utah, achieved zero-power criticality and later generated electricity that powered an NVIDIA system. Valar was selected for the DOE Reactor Pilot Program and the Advanced Nuclear Fuel Line Pilot Program, and it has announced a collaboration with NVIDIA on a waterless 30 MW AI factory.
