Vinci4D develops physics-driven AI software that helps hardware engineers run simulations a day after a design change, rather than waiting two weeks. The company says its platform can run up to 1,000 times faster than conventional tools while maintaining higher accuracy. Vinci works with AMD hardware to simulate printed circuit boards, chip packages and 3D-stacked integrated circuits, and recently raised $250 million at a $1.5 billion valuation.
SiliconANGLE’s theCUBE previews its Oct. 14 SEMICON West coverage, focusing on AI-powered engineering and semiconductor system design. Vinci4D says its AI physics foundation model and GPU-based simulations help engineers assess hardware before manufacturing; the company has raised $250 million in Series B funding at a $1.5 billion valuation, and more than 40 semiconductor companies use its software in production. The coverage also examines power and thermal constraints, system-level design, and collaboration across the semiconductor industry.
Vinci4D closes a $250 million Series B at a $1.5 billion valuation, co-led by Advent, Temasek and Xora, with AMD Ventures among participating funds. Its software uses a physics-focused AI model to turn chip CAD drawings into simulations, automating meshing and speeding up calculations. Vinci says it can complete simulations with hundreds of millions of degrees of freedom in minutes. The company plans to extend the platform to vehicles, aircraft and satellites.
