aVenture Investment Company ("aVenture") is an independent research platform providing detailed analysis and data on startups, venture capital investments, and key industry individuals. It is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or investment advisor and does not provide investment advice or recommendations. The data provided by aVenture does not constitute recommendations or advice, whether by methodology, analysis, AI-generated content, or a statement written by a staff member of aVenture.

Content on our site may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or what are commonly called 'hallucinations' if generated in part or in full by AI / LLMs. The risk can also exist even when content is written by a human, as internal and third-party sources may also have inaccuracies for the same or different reasons. While we randomly audit a proportion of content, this is not exhaustive.

We recommend that an independent auditor be hired to verify the accuracy of the information before relying on it for any sensitive decisions. By accessing this platform, you agree not to rely solely on any information generated by AI, aggregated, or sourced or written otherwise on this site, for investment, financial, or other decisions. aVenture assumes no responsibility for inaccuracies, omissions, or hallucinations. The WeTalk Network is building a network of dozens of online communities where people who are passionate about important topics and issues in their lives can come to discuss those passions with others in an atmosphere that is thoughtful, focused, and well-organized. Built around the company's Community Catalyst technology, these communities are moderated to prevent noise and distraction, personalized to make the focus the user experience and make it more efficient and effective. Members are rewarded with TalkingPoints(tm) for their participation in the community and can then use those TalkingPoints to bid on merchandise and services. WTN also makes its Community Catalyst technology available to other companies who wish either to add its capabilities to their technology platforms or to build their own online communities with WTN's technology and more than 50 years combined online community design and management experience.

At present, the company is accepting applications from companies who would like to use its technology and community-building expertise to build their own online communities. The WeTalk Network was founded in the spring of 1999 by industry veteran technologist and communicator Dan Shafer. Dan founded The WeTalk Network with the goal of creating a highly profitable model for creating online communities and then helping customers maximize the potential of their online communities. To create highly functional, valuable communities, businesses required a combination of community-building technology and methodology that the market did not yet offer. The WeTalk Network is headquartered in San Bruno, California, near San Francisco.
