Wheere’s low-frequency VHF radio and beyond-GPS algorithm enable sub-meter indoor positioning through 50m-thick concrete at industrial sites, hospitals and tunnels.
Wheere uses low-frequency VHF radio signals and a unique proprietary algorithm, freeing it from the limits of traditional GPS, and addresses industry, defence and healthcare sectors. It generates the signals that enable a tracker to locate itself, and its electronic component integrates into all types of trackers or connected objects, providing the Wheere position up to twice per second. Position data is delivered through Wheere software or its proprietary API, and Wheere offers dev kits and SDKs to partners building their own trackers.
The technology penetrates up to 50 meters of concrete and ensures accuracy of less than one meter indoors, with four antennas covering a square kilometre. It covers industrial sites, hospitals and tunnels, and its use cases include lone-worker safety, digital twins and asset tracking.
