Seagen Inc. and Genmab A/S announced that the Phase 3 innovaTV 301 trial in recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer met its primary endpoint of overall survival, comparing TIVDAK with chemotherapy.

TIVDAK demonstrated improved overall survival, progression-free survival, and objective response rate compared with chemotherapy in results presented at the ESMO 2023 congress. Results from innovaTV 301 were intended to support U.S. accelerated approval and global regulatory applications.

Patients in the Phase 2 pilot trial 2-THE-TOP had median progression-free survival of 12.1 months, compared with 7.9 months for matched-control patients from EF-14. Novocure announced that David Tran would present updated results.
