Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy (CGLA) students received $25 each from a private donor to purchase books at McKay’s Used Books during the last month of the 2016–17 school year.
We had several seventh and eighth grade students participate in the Mad, Bad, and Dangerous Girls Edition: 24 Hour Generator at GPS on March 15th and 16th. Teams were comprised of students from local public and private middle schools. During the event, the girls were presented with a problem experienced by a local business and, along with the help of a mentor, had the task of collaborating with their peers to solve this problem.
The Tennessee Department of Education designated Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy (CGLA) as a 2024–2025 Reward School, an honor given to only 30 charter schools statewide.
