Starbridge, a platform that helps sales teams identify public-sector business opportunities, raises a $42 million Series A led by David Sacks’ Craft Ventures. The platform brings together public data from sources such as PDFs, agency websites, meeting minutes, and directories, then ranks accounts by their likelihood of purchasing technology and tracks changes such as leadership moves and new initiatives. The round brings Starbridge’s total funding to $52 million, and the company plans to integrate its tools into systems such as CRMs and Slack.
Augment, founded by Deliverr co-founder Harish Abbott, raises an $85 million Series A led by Redpoint, five months after emerging from stealth with a $25 million seed round. Its AI assistant, Augie, automates seven freight-logistics tasks across voice, email, Slack, SMS, and Telegram, including bid review, shipment tracking, load building, and invoice-document collection. Fully onboarded customer Armstrong Transport Group reports a 40% reduction in invoice delays, and the funding will support hiring 50 engineers and adding product features.
