Bitburger Ventures

In the mid of 2018, Bitburger Holding founded the investment company Bitburger Ventures for its investments in start-ups. The aim is to combine the growth potential of young, innovative companies with the financial strength and access to different expertise along the value chain of the Bitburger Group. Our heritage as a medium-sized family business with a long-term orientation distinguishes Bitburger Ventures from pure financial investors and offers young entrepreneurs a unique added value. Our activities focus primarily on the German-speaking area, where we have been operating for 200 years.

Through our industrial holdings in leading medium-sized companies that are successful in various industries and in international markets, we have direct access to different networks and various competencies. We are pragmatic, accessible and credible and expect the same from our venture partners. Bitburger Ventures invests venture capital in the form of minority holdings in already established start-ups, preferably in the Seed to Series B phase. Our investment focus is on consumer-facing business models, but we are also interested in leading alternative technology and service solutions. Following the tradition of a family business, we sustainably support our portfolio companies on their growth path. Bitburger Ventures also invests in international venture capital funds.
