Diffusion is a venture capital firm founded by Victor Lazarte and Kris Fredrickson that invests in artificial intelligence companies from early stage through growth stage. Lazarte co-founded Wildlife Studios and invested at Benchmark, while Fredrickson came from Coatue Management and Benchmark.
The firm co-led the $550 million round in legal AI company Harvey alongside Lightspeed Venture Partners, and led the $85 million seed round in AI wealth-advisory platform Decade. Its venture filings are made from a San Francisco address, and founder Victor Lazarte has described AI chipmaker Etched as the firm's largest investment to date.
