Lasso Security launches LEAP, a transformer-free AI guardrail that runs on ordinary server processors, and announces $30 million in funding. The company says LEAP returns verdicts in under five milliseconds, while its RAPID engine uses a self-hosted model for policy decisions requiring judgment; a routing layer keeps most traffic off GPUs. Lasso says its software covers tens of thousands of agents and billions of monthly requests and actions, with BMW, eToro, Fiverr and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security among its customers. ClearSky Advisors leads the round.

Israel-based eVTOL startup AIR raises $23 million in a Series A led by Entrée Capital to scale production, hire employees, and expand into the U.S. The company offers a piloted personal aircraft, AIR ONE, and an uncrewed cargo eVTOL built on the same airframe and core systems. AIR reports more than 2,500 AIR ONE preorders and plans to ship 15 cargo aircraft this year.
