Indian grocery startup KiranaPro says hackers accessed its AWS and GitHub root accounts and erased its app code, servers, and sensitive customer data. The app remains online but cannot process orders; the company says it serves 55,000 customers, including 30,000–35,000 active buyers across 50 cities, and handles 2,000 orders daily. KiranaPro says logs suggest access through a former employee’s account and that it is filing cases against former employees.
