Trace Machina is developing simulation software to help engineers test updates for autonomous systems before deploying them in the real world. The startup emerges from stealth with a $4.7 million seed investment and NativeLink, an open-source, Rust-based tool for running simulations with direct access to resource-constrained hardware. Its staging environment targets systems such as embedded Nvidia GPUs used in robots, self-driving cars, and edge devices.
