Alan Yu conducts fundamental research on global healthcare companies and advises portfolio managers on trades. Before joining Zazove Associates in 2012, he worked as a research analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and earned an MBA in Finance.
Chris holds an MBA in finance and accounting from Northwestern University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University. Before joining Zazove Associates in 2000, he spent 13 years at Credit Suisse First Boston, most recently as West Coast Equity Product Manager.
Gene Pretti serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Zazove Associates. Before joining in 1989, he worked in institutional equity sales at First Boston Corporation and previously held roles as an analyst at CUNA Mutual Insurance Co. and Robert W. Baird & Co. He earned an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, specializing in security analysis and portfolio management.
Greg manages Zazove’s Global Convertible Strategy and contributes to the firm’s Investment Committee. Before joining in 1997, he analyzed foreign corporate pricing practices as a Senior Associate at Baker & Botts and later advised the Department of Commerce as Senior Counsel for Import Administration.
