WD-40 Company Launches WD-40 Specialist Line for Professional and Trade Maintenance Applications

WD-40 Company launched the WD-40 Specialist product line in 2009, extending the brand beyond its flagship multi-use product into a professional maintenance segment. The Specialist line was designed for trade users, mechanics, and serious hobbyists who required task-specific formulations for performance applications. Initial WD-40 Specialist products included rust release penetrant, contact electrical cleaner, dry lube with PTFE, white lithium grease, and chain and cable lubricant.
