Name: WaterCrest Whole House Physical Water Treatment System
Brand: Hanish Water

The WaterCrest treats every tap in a residence through a single whole-house unit built on filtration media the company traces to NASA-derived technology. Rather than ion-exchange softening, it conditions the incoming water and targets scale, chlorine, taste and odor, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and microbial threats including bacteria, viruses, and cysts. The unit operates passively: it adds no salt, draws no electricity, contains no moving parts, and produces no backwash or wastewater, removing the drain connection that conventional salt softeners require.

Hanish Water sells the line in two configurations: the flagship WaterCrest-4, rated up to 18 gallons per minute and measuring 25 by 35 by 9 inches, and the WaterCrest-3-BB big-blue variant for higher-flow installations, both listed at $4,895 and backed by a lifetime warranty. On its comparison page the company contrasts the WaterCrest against conventional salt-based softeners as well as reverse-osmosis, carbon, and ultraviolet systems, positioning it as a single-pass, low-maintenance alternative for whole-home water treatment.
