The LEAP Innovations Accelerator is a yearlong cohort-based program where school teams design, pilot, and scale student-centered learning approaches.
The LEAP Innovations Accelerator, formerly known as the Pilot Network, is a yearlong cohort-based program in which forward-thinking school teams use a design cycle to design, pilot, and scale innovative approaches to student-centered learning. Teams identify an Opportunity of Practice, prototype solutions with design thinking, and explore vetted edtech tools for classroom pilots, with expert coaching throughout.
The program runs as an in-person Chicagoland Accelerator, a virtual accelerator for schools anywhere in the United States, and customized cohorts for larger districts, networks, and regional systems. Participants earn professional development hours and join a national community of educators working on sustainable school improvement.
