When COVID hit, VV woman leader Dr. Daria Mejnartowicz quickly mobilized to care for communities around the world.

Dalin Nhean is a senior program manager working primarily on the VV GROW Fellowship. She manages budgets and contracts, supports monitoring and evaluation, leads recruitment and selection, oversees partnerships, and conducts research and analysis.

Eugenia Podestá is vice president of Leadership & Social Impact and oversees the VV GROW Fellowship, a global one-year accelerator for women-owned SMEs. She has over 20 years of experience in international development and entrepreneurship.

Jackie Deacutis is a manager on the Leadership & Social Impact team at Vital Voices and organizes logistics and implementation for the Fortune – U.S. Department of State Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership and the WE Empower UN SDG Challenge. Jackie received a BA (International Honours) in International Relations through a joint degree programme at the College of William & Mary and the University of St Andrews, spending two years at each.

Leslie Smith studied Dance Education at the University of South Carolina and taught dance in studios and public schools. She is a registered yoga teacher with over 900 hours of training and works as a makeup artist for events and photo shoots in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
