Nuclear energy company developing highly compact pressurized-water reactors built around a miniaturized steam generator.
Apollo Atomics' reactors are roughly an order of magnitude more compact than conventional pressurized-water reactors because the company shrunk the steam generator, the largest component, while keeping proven fuel, coolant, and supply chains.
This approach is intended to shorten deployment from more than a decade to under 24 months and target costs of roughly 3 cents per kilowatt-hour, using factory fabrication and truck transport instead of on-site megaproject construction.

Apollo Atomics is positioned to serve data-center operators, industrial offtakers, and utilities that need firm, low-carbon baseload power on short construction timelines. The company reported more than 20 gigawatts of signed letters of intent and partnerships during its Y Combinator batch.
The demand reflects a broader need for dispatchable clean energy to support AI infrastructure and industrial loads, as conventional nuclear plants remain too large and slow to build for customers who need power before 2030.

Apollo Atomics is developing a family of compact pressurized-water reactors based on a miniaturized Compact Steam Generator. The roadmap includes the A-10 (10 MWe), A-50 (50 MWe), and A-300 (300 MWe) units, each designed for factory fabrication, truck delivery, and deployment in under 24 months.
All three reactor variants use commercial-grade nuclear fuel, light water coolant, fully passive safety systems, and existing qualified supply chains, with the aim of keeping the well-understood physics and licensing pathway of conventional PWRs while reducing plant footprint and construction time.
