TeraPHY is an optical I/O chiplet from Ayar Labs designed to move data directly out of GPU, CPU, or accelerator packages. It pairs with the SuperNova multi-wavelength light source to provide multi-terabit throughput at lower latency and power than traditional pluggable optics and electrical SerDes.
The chiplet targets AI scale-up and scale-out architectures, enabling accelerators to communicate across die, rack, and data center distances while reducing power and increasing bandwidth density.
