CaRi-Plaque is an FDA-cleared, AI-assisted analysis that measures coronary plaque composition, plaque burden, and stenosis from a coronary CT angiography scan. Each report quantifies maximum stenosis alongside total, calcified, non-calcified, and low-density non-calcified plaque volume, plus a remodelling index, using visual representations of each coronary vessel to support the reading clinician.

A published validation study compared CaRi-Plaque outputs against independent expert readers across a multi-center international patient population and reported strong agreement on key measurements. Scan data is uploaded to the cloud and de-identified before Caristo's software performs preliminary analysis, and trained operators review the results before delivering a report in DICOM-conformant or PDF format.
