Cloudflare AI Gateway is a managed gateway that sits between an application and any number of AI model providers, giving teams a single endpoint for routing, caching, rate limiting, observability, and cost tracking across LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and others.

It competes with multi-model gateways such as OpenRouter for developers who want provider-neutral model access plus Cloudflare's edge security, caching, and logging without managing per-provider API keys, formats, and billing.
