Las Marías controls its supply from nursery to packaged product, selecting plant material through vegetative reproduction and running integrated pest management so that flavour and colour stay consistent across harvests. That vertical integration keeps production in house rather than buying raw material on the open market.
Its brands hold a substantial share of the Argentine yerba mate market, and its yerba mate and tea carry internationally recognised food-safety and quality certifications. The forestry arm adds certified timber exports as a second line of business.

Yerba mate is consumed widely in Argentina and neighbouring South American countries, and demand for the infusion has been developing in export markets across the Middle East, Europe and North America. Packaged branded mate accounts for a smaller share of export volume than bulk leaf, but carries higher value per unit.
Tea gives Las Marías a second infusion category with its own export demand, while its forestry operation serves international timber markets for dimensioned wood. Recent product work has aimed at introducing mate to consumers outside South America.

Las Marías produces and packages yerba mate and tea for retail consumers, growing its own plant material and carrying the leaf through harvest, ageing, milling and packing. Its consumer brands include Taragüí, Unión, La Merced and Mañanita, each positioned for a different taste preference.
The company sells through retail and wholesale channels in Argentina and exports to international markets. Alongside its infusion brands it runs a forestation business whose milled timber is sold domestically and abroad.
