French Broad Chocolate Lounge specializes in craft chocolate confections and handmade pastry desserts. Chocolate Lounge offers a wide variety of truffles, caramels, brownies, coffee, wines, and teas.

Established in 2006. Dan and I lived in Costa Rica for two years, where we operated a breakfast/lunch/dessert cafe, called Bread & Chocolate. We sold the restaurant in 2006 (it still exists today!) and moved to Asheville to build a chocolate company called French Broad Chocolates. We started with a small dream of selling at a farmers market and making people happy with chocolate, and have since grown a lot. We've come to recognize the responsibility and the honor we have to create a positive impact on all our communities - our local community, our farmer partners (from cacao to berries to milk, etc.), and our employees - and the environment.
