Gravis Robotics develops physical AI that retrofits standard excavators and loaders with an onboard control kit, sensors, and a tablet interface so mixed-brand fleets can run with AI-augmented or fully autonomous excavation. The Gravis Rack and Slate software adapt to machines from compact units to 100-plus-ton class equipment across manufacturers including Caterpillar, Case, Develon, John Deere, JCB, Hitachi, Sumitomo, Yanmar, and Volvo.

Contractors use the system for trenching, bulk earthwork, truck loading, stockpile management, and surveying, mixing in-cab copilot guidance with remote fleet supervision. Deployments with Holcim, Taylor Woodrow, KIBAG, Flannery Plant Hire, and other infrastructure operators are live across four continents.
