Grupo Cibest reports Q1 2026 net income of COP 1.5 trillion, down 16% year over year after recording a one-time wealth tax provision. Normalized net income is COP 1.8 trillion, and the company announces a new share buyback program while expecting the Banistmo sale to close in Q2 2026.
Grupo Cibest reports COP 3.8 trillion in annual net income and a 9.1% return on equity for 2025. Excluding the one-off Banistmo impairment effect, normalized net income reaches COP 7.3 trillion, with ROE of 17.2%. Digital platforms Nequi and Wompi reach breakeven in Q4.
Grupo Cibest reports that its net profit falls 39% in 2025 to COP 3.82 trillion, mainly reflecting the effect of an agreement to sell its Panamanian subsidiary Banistmo to Inversiones Cuscatlán Centroamérica. The group posts a fourth-quarter net loss of COP 1.85 trillion, which it attributes to a COP 3.4 trillion goodwill impairment.
