Molex MPRF is a rugged compact multi-port RF coaxial connector family that helps avoid coax connection failure in high-vibration environments.
The MPRF series packages multiple RF coaxial contacts into compact rugged housings for high-vibration settings such as telecom base stations, defense radios and vehicular antennas. Configurations include gang-of-4 MPRF plugs with straight crimp terminations for RG178 cable and side latching, 50 ohm impedance contacts, and panel or free-hanging mounting across standard and custom arrays.
By bundling several coax paths through one mating interface, MPRF reduces cable routing complexity and prevents the intermittent coax connection failures that plague single-port interfaces in mobile and shock-exposed installations, continuing Molex's multiplexed RF interconnect portfolio alongside its Cardinal and fixed-width RF series.
