NanoPhoria Bioscience is a preclinical-stage biotechnology company whose lead product, NP-MP1, is an inhalable Nano-in-Micro formulation that delivers a calcium channel modulator peptide for heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, a chronic syndrome.

Its delivery technology is based on inorganic Calcium Phosphate nanoparticles embedded in highly respirable microparticles. These nanoparticles act as biomimetic nanocarriers that can be loaded with novel therapeutics or have therapeutics attached to their surfaces. The non-viral, scalable system is designed for inhalation and other administration routes, and the platform targets tissue-directed delivery of therapeutic peptides and RNAs.
