Overview

Numeral's tax engine and API calculate transaction taxes as customers check out or businesses create invoices. The product applies rate information at the relevant state, county, city, and special-district level for U.S. sales tax and supports international indirect-tax calculations and VAT-ID validation.

Developers can connect through its REST API or published software development kits, while prebuilt integrations connect tax calculation to billing and commerce platforms. Transaction records from the calculation workflow can feed Numeral's filing and reporting processes so finance teams can reconcile liability across channels.
