Parrot is a Monterrey-based restaurant technology company providing the ParrotConnect cloud point-of-sale platform and Parrot Pay terminal.
Parrot's current marketing site presents the company as an ecosystem for restaurant owners in Mexico, combining the point-of-sale subscription with its own payments terminal rather than third-party processors. The site claims more than 1,000 restaurants run on the platform as of 2026.
That footprint would leave the roughly 500-restaurant base reported alongside the January 2022 Series A well behind. The pitch replaces fragmented front-of-house, back-office and payment tooling with one cloud platform aimed at independent venues and chains alike.

Parrot raised a 9.5 million dollar Series A led by F-Prime Capital, announced on January 10, 2022, after a 2.1 million dollar seed disclosed in late 2020. The round brought disclosed outside funding to roughly 11.7 million dollars.
TechCrunch reported the raise as part of a push to digitize Mexico's restaurants. At the time Parrot served around 500 restaurants and planned to extend its point-of-sale and payments stack to more venues.

The ParrotConnect point-of-sale platform centralizes dine-in, takeaway and delivery orders, with integrations for Uber Eats, Rappi and DiDi Food. The suite bundles kitchen display screens, inventory and recipe management, staff time tracking, a back-office administration portal and a companion mobile app for owner reporting.
Parrot Pay is the company's own card terminal, so each payment reconciles to its order inside the point of sale, and QR invoicing supports Mexican fiscal requirements. Published plans start from 949 Mexican pesos per month on the early-access tier, and developer.parrotsoftware.io documents a public API for external integrations.
