RealCrowdRealCrowd Marketplace

RealCrowd Marketplace was the online offering marketplace operated by RealCrowd, a Y Combinator Summer 2013 company. Approved real estate sponsors listed individual property and pooled fund offerings under Regulation D 506(c), while accredited investors reviewed offering documents and committed capital directly with the sponsor rather than through a fund intermediary. The company charged sponsors a base listing fee plus per-investor processing fees scaled by minimum-investment tier, and reported hosting more than $4.5 billion across roughly 170 investments in 38 states.

The marketplace served two audiences: accredited investors seeking passive, professionally managed real estate exposure across property types such as multifamily, industrial, retail, and office, and sponsors using the platform's tools to raise capital online and build direct investor relationships. RealCrowd was acquired by Trinity Investors in 2023, and historical investments made through the RealCrowd Marketplace were transitioned to the Trinity Investors platform.
