Star CatcherStar Catcher Network

The Star Catcher Network is the orbital energy grid offering of Star Catcher Industries, transmitting concentrated solar energy wirelessly to client satellites' existing solar arrays via optical power beaming, with no retrofit required. The company states the network can enable up to 10x more power generation than onboard systems alone, using Power Nodes that collect, concentrate, refine, and distribute energy to client satellites in low Earth orbit and beyond.

Commercial delivery runs through power purchase agreements with satellite operators in connectivity, computing, and national-security applications; the company names customers including Starcloud, Loft Orbital, Astro Digital, Aethero, and Satlyt, plus government programs through AFWERX. The network's Protostar prototype power node is prepared for launch aboard SpaceX's Transporter-18 mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base in October 2026.
