Competitive Advantages

Survios raised 4 million dollars in 2014 from Shasta Ventures, Mavent Partners, World Innovation Lab, and Felicis Ventures, followed by 50 million dollars across 2016 rounds led by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Lux Capital. In October 2020 the studio added 16.7 million dollars led by Irongrey with Woori, KNET, Seoul Investment Partners, Samsung Next, Shasta, and Lux, bringing total funding past 70 million dollars.

This capital base funded marquee licenses including Alien, Creed, The Walking Dead, and Westworld, plus the 2124 Publishing division. Operating since 2013 with more than a dozen shipped VR titles, the studio holds rare staying power in the VR games market.
