Virta and French energy company Voltalis partner to expand smart EV charging through pilot projects in Finland and Sweden. Virta signs a definitive agreement to acquire Northe, a Scandinavian EV fleet management software provider, expanding its fleet and charging platform. The deal combines Northe’s software for leasing companies and large fleet operators with Virta’s charging business management, energy management, and Virtual Power Plant platform. Together, the companies will serve well over 100,000 active EV drivers and become the Nordics’ largest B2B EV driver platform. Northe was founded in Sweden as Charge4go AB and counts some of the region’s largest leasing firms among its customers.
