Zilch provides buy-now-pay-later credit and rewards for everyday consumer purchases.
Zilch is a UK consumer payments and credit app that lets shoppers pay immediately or split purchases over weeks or months, with rewards on some pay-now spend. Users check out in-app, with a virtual or physical card, or via Apple Pay and Google Pay at thousands of retailers.
The core product is a regulated consumer credit and payments account rather than a single checkout widget. Customers can pay now for rewards, spread balances over six weeks or three months, and use paid Extra and Plus memberships plus a small salary advance inside the same credit agreement.
Zilch pairs consumer instalment credit with rewards and a merchant advertising network, so some of the cost of credit can be funded by retailer media rather than interest alone. FCA authorisations, bureau reporting, and the planned Fjord Bank purchase give it a thicker regulatory stack than many buy-now-pay-later apps.
Unlike checkout-only peers, Zilch issues a Visa-linked account, reports to UK credit bureaus, and now holds a payments-services licence intended to support in-house Zilch Pay. Merchant tools such as Intelligent Commerce let retailers buy access to a claimed multi-million user base.
Consumer pricing mixes a free Standard plan with Extra and Plus paid memberships that trade monthly fees for higher rewards and extras. Pay-over-time is marketed as no-interest, but the UK site discloses a representative APR example and other fees.
Instalment products are advertised without late fees or interest, yet the representative APR and fee language show credit is not unconditionally free. Memberships add a consumer subscription layer, and an ad-subsidised merchant network is a third revenue line.
