UCSF offers preclinical MRI and spectroscopy, including hyperpolarized carbon-13 studies, through its research core.
UCSF’s preclinical magnetic-resonance imaging and spectroscopy core provides instruments and research support for biomedical samples. Its imaging and spectroscopy systems are integrated with dynamic nuclear polarization equipment for hyperpolarized carbon-13 experiments. Researchers can study rodents, tissue samples, cell cultures, and perfused cell or tissue bioreactors.
The service supports imaging-biomarker research and translation through several complementary magnetic-resonance systems. Its official buyer page lists recharge rates and study-application routes, including a request pathway for investigators outside UCSF. External requests undergo review by the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging before access to equipment and resources is arranged.
Adds products that compete with one of Preclinical MR Imaging and Spectroscopy’s direct competitors but not with Preclinical MR Imaging and Spectroscopy itself. They are shaded, and Linked Through names the direct competitor each one competes with.
