POLARIS is a room-temperature hyperpolarizer that amplifies MRI-visible metabolic signals for preclinical research systems.
POLARIS is NVision’s laboratory hyperpolarizer for preclinical metabolic MRI. It prepares carbon-13-enriched pyruvate for injection and measurement on standard MRI scanners, helping researchers study metabolism and treatment response. The system operates at room temperature and combines a polarizer with precursor kits, catalyst, parahydrogen supplies, and laboratory support.
The preclinical workflow prepares an imaging agent, increases its magnetic signal, and measures its metabolism after injection. NVision specifies throughput of up to three doses per hour and supplies training, maintenance, and image acquisition support. Development toward investigational clinical use continues; hyperpolarized imaging agents are not approved for routine clinical application.
