Eucentre trains practitioners in earthquake engineering through short courses run with the Order of Engineers of Pavia.
Eucentre's training for practitioners promotes skills in seismic risk reduction, covering seismology, geology, geotechnics, material and structural behaviour, structural analysis, design of new structures, and assessment and retrofitting of existing structures, including in emergency situations. In collaboration with the Order of Engineers of Pavia, it organises eight-hour short courses on specialised topics in seismic design.
The courses address professionals, technicians, and public officials working in the construction sector. The Eucentre Foundation is registered as an accredited training provider, number 1321 of 5 December 2022, in Section B of the Lombardy Region register, which allows it to offer professional specialisation courses, continuing education, and lifelong learning programmes.
