Enwave’s London district steam service supplies thermal energy to buildings through a centralized district energy system. Customers include St. Joseph’s Health Care, which uses steam for space heating and sterilization, and London Hospital Linen Service, which uses it for sterilizing hospital linens.
The service removes customers’ need to invest in separate onsite steam equipment and provides continuous maintenance and support. Enwave’s London system includes combined heat and power equipment, including a gas turbine and condensing steam turbine. Its district steam delivery serves the same building thermal-supply problem as eSteam while using a different generation approach.
