Huawei's next-generation smart-terminal operating system spanning phones, tablets, TVs, and wearables.
HarmonyOS is Huawei's distributed operating system designed across device forms, including smartphones, smart TVs, and other terminals, with device-partner and OEM development programs described on its official site.
Huawei positions the platform as a viable alternative to Android, promoted at its developer conference coverage from 2026, and it replaced Android on Huawei phones after US export restrictions.
Adds products that compete with one of HarmonyOS’ direct competitors but not with HarmonyOS itself. They are shaded, and Linked Through names the direct competitor each one competes with.
