Roku's smart-TV operating system, licensed to television makers and running on Roku streaming players.
Roku describes Roku OS on its official page as the platform behind its streaming players and partner smart televisions from brands including TCL, Hisense, and Philips, built around a customizable home screen for apps and live TV.
Roku licenses the operating system to television manufacturers, competing for the same living-room platform agreements as Google's Android TV.
Adds products that compete with one of Roku OS’ direct competitors but not with Roku OS itself. They are shaded, and Linked Through names the direct competitor each one competes with.
