An API platform that lets partner companies sell branded retail electricity plans to their own customers.
The platform supplies the licensed retail electricity provider, wholesale power procurement, commodity risk management, billing, collections, and customer support behind a partner's own electricity offering. Partners register as brokers and market the plans under their own brand; Light does not license its brand for use on partner plans and does not sell directly to end customers.
Three integration paths exist: a no-code hosted web app, prebuilt embeddable UI components, and a REST API split into an app-scoped App API and a user-authorized Account API, supported by webhooks, a partner dashboard, and an optional Light-hosted branded customer dashboard on the partner's domain. Partners configure rate structures and pricing per customer segment, choose a commission rate at plan design, and receive monthly commissions for as long as each customer stays enrolled.
