Announced alongside the September 2026 Series A as Light's first EV-centric product, the service lets mobility partners offer unlimited or subscription charging plans and vehicle-to-everything rewards inside the vehicles and apps drivers already use. It runs on the same regulated retail electricity platform as solar buyback and conventional plans, so one partner integration can present several plan types.
The stated purpose is predictable energy costs for drivers and additional revenue for the companies selling vehicles and chargers. Light reports that two of the five largest automakers are working with it to launch EV charging plans.
