Lovable Cloud is the built-in backend for Lovable projects, combining hosting, database, authentication, storage, realtime features, and server-side functions.
Cloud provisions a production backend within a Lovable project so that a prompted build can include frontend and backend functionality without separate infrastructure setup. It supports database operations, user authentication, storage, secrets, scheduled work, logs, and serverless backend code.
Lovable launched Cloud in September 2025. Its current documentation says Cloud is built on Supabase's open-source foundation, while projects may alternatively use an externally connected Supabase backend.
