PromanProman Methanol

Proman produces and markets methanol as the world's second largest producer, operating plants across multiple regions. Its methanol is a liquid at ambient temperature, is easy to store and handle, and is sold into marine fuel, power generation, transportation fuel, fuel blending, and methanol-to-olefins applications, with availability at more than 120 ports worldwide.

Proman pairs methanol production with carbon capture and blending with lower-carbon and green methanol to serve customers reducing emissions. Through joint ventures including Natgasoline in Beaumont, Texas, the company is also a world-scale Gulf Coast producer, positioning its methanol against new low-carbon supplies for chemical, industrial, and marine fuel buyers.
