Supabase Vector is an open-source vector database and AI toolkit for developing AI applications on Postgres. It uses pgvector to store, index, and access embeddings at scale, with an AI toolkit that connects to embedding providers such as Hugging Face and OpenAI.
Vector embeddings are stored in the same Postgres database as transactional data, and client libraries manage and query vector stores in Postgres for uses such as semantic search. It is available as a managed cloud platform or self-hosted.
