ZoomInfo Chorus is the conversation intelligence product in the ZoomInfo go-to-market platform, recording and analyzing sales calls and meetings.
Chorus reaches buyers through the ZoomInfo platform it ships inside, so conversation data joins the same account and contact graph that already carries firmographic and intent signals. That combination lets a revenue team attribute a stalled deal to what was said on a call rather than to an inferred score.
The product joins Zoom and Webex meetings automatically, exposes Salesforce reporting objects and offers a mobile app for review away from a desk. Its capture, transcription and coaching features sit in the same subscription as ZoomInfo's data products rather than in a separate vendor contract.
Conversation intelligence company Chorus.ai launched its flagship platform in October 2016 after a year of development and built a patent portfolio around call analysis for revenue teams. ZoomInfo agreed to acquire the company in July 2021 for approximately $575 million in cash.
The offering continued under ZoomInfo ownership as Chorus and shipped its first integrations with the wider ZoomInfo platform within months of the acquisition closing. ZoomInfo later added generative AI follow-up drafting and positioned the product alongside its sales, marketing and operations lines.
Conversation intelligence has moved from a standalone category toward a feature of broader revenue platforms, as CRM vendors bundle call analysis into suites that already hold pipeline and account data. That pressure favours offerings whose insights land directly in the system a forecast is built on.
Buyers increasingly weigh whether a dedicated conversation product integrates cleanly with the rest of their revenue stack and whether its output reaches the CRM without manual handling. Standalone vendors therefore compete both on analysis quality and on how little friction their data write-back introduces.
Chorus is the conversation intelligence product inside the ZoomInfo go-to-market platform. It records and transcribes sales calls, video meetings and email threads, then applies AI trackers to flag competitor mentions, pricing objections and next-step commitments.
Coaching surfaces score talk time and filler words, while deal and relationship intelligence maps buying-committee engagement across an account. Insights write back to the CRM so pipeline reviews draw on what buyers actually said.
